Therapeutic massage and Alignment-based yoga make a powerful combination for the rediscovery of pain-free movement.
Dana M. DeHart is a friendly and experienced practitioner of both.
Your massage sessions are customized to provide you with freedom of movement and deep relaxation. Dana is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals and state licensed in both Georgia and South Carolina.
Often, the best results are achieved by a creative blend of many massage techniques. Dana has many modalities from which to draw. Her training includes Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, neuro-muscular therapy, myoskeletal alignment, sports massage, orthopedic massage, Thai Yoga Bodywork, a little bit of reflexology, and deep tissue therapy. She also incorporates passive and active stretching techniques into her clinical work.
Dana’s technique provides that elusive blend of a “just deep enough” therapeutic massage that is still restorative and relaxing.
Dana is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance, has been practicing Yoga since 2006, and teaching since 2013. She completed her alignment focused Yoga teacher training with
Lillah Schwartz in Asheville, North Carolina.
She offers a lighthearted approach to serious Yoga. When you come to class, you will enjoy active poses at a slow pace to achieve great alignment and freedom. She utilizes props and detailed instruction, making her classes great for the beginner or for the veteran that wants to go deeper.
Dana also offers private yoga instruction to any student to further address chronic conditions, injuries, specific goals, or concerns.
If you can breathe, you can do yoga!
